Ad Aware doesn't have a firewall. Do you have the plus or pro version of ad
aware that includes ad watch? If so you have to exit the ad watch program
from the system tray. Then you should be able to uninstall ad aware.

Hi Debbie,

Can you please tell me how can I remove the firewall in the Ad Aware 5.0? I
sometimes couldn't access some of the websites, I think because of the
firewall, or, if I can't remove it. Is there a way I can go a head and
delete the whole program? I'd tried to do that, but I got a message saying
the file is being used by window. I also got this same type of message when
I tried to delete other programs as well, I am currently using windows 2000.

Can you please tell me how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much.
