Hello
I am an avg user.

To disable scheduled tasks do the following .

Go into control center.

Arrow down to the scheduler.

Press tab key once to the tasks button and hit the space bar.

Here you will find the list of scheduled tasks to run. focus on one of them
and tab down until you find disable task and check the box.

Then apply and ok.

Hope this helps

Subject: AVG updates and scans

Hi List,

AVG is supposed to be JFW friendly, but I am unable to determine how to
disable the auto updates and scans without having problems. Updates may be
the exception, but the auto scans are not possible; therefore, is there any
way for me to be in control of when updates and scans occur? Specifically,
I want to be able to perform these functions manually and only manually.

Thanks for any help.
