AVG and Jaws saying attachment

I get this at the end of my e-mails:
No virus found in this incoming message.
Checked by AVG Free Edition.
Version: 7.1.408 / Virus Database: 268.13.2/471 - Release Date: 2006/10/10
Is this what you are referring to when talking about "avg and Jaws
saying attachment"?
If it is, why do you find this bothersome?
