AVG Antivirus Hints Source?

Hi, I hope this is not off topic but I don't know who else to ask for
direction.
I am using the 6.0 version of AVG antivirus and have poked around the tools,
etc but am still unclear about notification from this program concerning
infected e mails, etc.
Are their any hints outlined somewhere that define optimum usage with JAWS
5.0?
