A few basic Jaws set-up questions

Hi, all.

I am setting up Jaws 11 on a new work computer, and have a few issues that
I've never encountered before.

I know these are very basic, so please excuse my brain lapses here (grin):

1. I have noticed that, in Microsoft Word, and all other applications, Jaws
does not speak the keys when I type something. I like to have this feature,
so I can double-check myself as I prepare a document, spreadsheet, or e-mail
message. How do I turn the key speak function on?

2. I have made uniform reading speed adjustments to the PC cursor voice,
Jaws cursor voice, the keyboard voice, the menu and dialog voice, and the
message and tutorial voice, but still, when I alt-tab to an application, the
application message reads very slowly. What changes do I make to cause the
application announcement to read at the same speed as all the other voices?

Thanks for any help that can be provided here.

Sincerely,
Tom Behler in Michigan
