That's what I did with my oddball keyboard; worked too.

Hi I use my thump to strike the windows key and my small finger to
strike
the tab while all the rest of my fingers remain on home row.

Hi,
When I use the left Windows Key plus tab key combonation, I use my left
thumb to strike the Windows key, and the two fingers after my thumb to
strike the tab key. I hope this makes sense. Jeff

Hi Jeffrey,

Well, what you suggest sounds like another one of those instances in
which
my only response its to ask how on earth a person's supposed to do that.
You

mean with just your left hand? Somehow locate the left windows key with
your

thumb or something, and hit the tab key with your little finger? That
would
require eargue me to use my right hand to position my left hand before I

could do it. LOL. Seriously, though.

Lest I sound unadventurous, please consider that I'm accustomed to
locating
the left windows key with my left index finger by finding the left
control
key with it first and then sliding it one to the right, to the Windows
key.
So that's what my fingers and hands are accustomed to doing. I just
tried
using my left index on the Windows key and finding the Tab key with my
little finger. No way. Anyway, I'm perfectly happy with what I
discoveredisconcerted, as I have two hands. Although if I somehow lost
my
right hand, I'm sure I'd retrain myself to do all this with my left.
Just
strikes me oddly.

But let a hundred flowers bloom in the Windows courtyard, by all means.
Oh,
I don't use Vista, so that's not a concern to me, but thanks for
mentioning
it.

Hi,
You can also use the left Windows Key. However, I don't know how well
this
works with Windows Vista due to the visual changes and Windows 3d flip.
I
did this once on my brother's mew Vista machine, and it didn't put you
right
on the task bar. HTH, Jeff

I just accidentally discovered a very convenient Windows keyboard way to
circulate among your running applications besides Alt-tabbing from one
to
the other. Not that I mind doing that so terribly, but this is pretty
slick:

Just press Windows key plus tab. That's the right Windows key, of
course.
What this does is land you immediately in your task bar, which is where
a
sighted user would be clicking on the icons that represent open
applications.

Now, I know I can get to the Task Bar by going to the Desktop with
Windows M

or Windows D, and then tabbing around from Desktop to start menu to
system
tray and so forth until I land in the Task Bar. But when I thought that
was
my only alternative to repeatedly pressing alt tab, I passed on it.

But with this, you just press right Windows key plus tab, and you're on
the
first icon in your Task Bar representing one of your open apps. From
there,
if you don't want to click on and restore that one, you just go back and
forth with your arrow keys until you find the icon you do want to
restore,
and there you go.

I know, this is 1. off topic, except that you wouldn't have to explore
and
discover such things if you didn't use a screen reader, of course and,
2.
everybody probably knows it, already, and my blundering into it when I'd
meant to press alt tab makes me the last one to know.

In any case, if this is helpful to someone, great. Just sharing, as we
say.
