Hi Shannon Although I bought myself a new laptop which I shall get this week, up to now I was using the latest version of Jaws and MS 2000. I also began to experience funny problems with Word that I never had in the past before Jaws 9. The problems are not exactly like yours, but also have to do with when I open a word document - I get something like "document 1 recovered"; "document 2 recovered" ... when I close one word document, I also have to close all the others ... very weird. It was suggested to me that the problem might be the old version of Word I am using. I suppose not much help, but something to consider - maybe?
