Hello David.

What I am wanting to do is change the default setting for the temporary
action. So I will not have to go into the verbosity dialog box near as
often as I do now. I would rather have the setting default to something
that I use more often than something that I never use.

Chris for a temporary action like you are looking for you don't need to go
into the configuration Manager. I'm sorry I confused. For anything
temporary go to the Verbosity setting in Jaws. This can be done by pressing
the incert key on the number pad and the v key at the same time. Then you
can arrow up or down for your different options. As I explain in my first
message this can be changed by pressing the spacebar. When you have more
than one option it's required to keep pressing the spacebar to change from
one to another option. I hope this will help.

Hello David.

I would appreciate it if you can tell me where to find the default option in
the configuration manager I cannot find it in the configuration manager. So
therefore I'm posting here instead of on a more general jaws list sense as I
understand it I'm going to have to open a file in a text editor and find the
setting and change it. I'm not sure which file this setting is located in
and I was hoping someone could lend me a hand.

Thank you for your help

Good Evening Chris: In order to make the requested change go to table
titles and press the spacebar about 4 times and then press escape to exit
out of the options to make this change temporarily. If you need to make
this change permitently you will need to go into your configuration manager.

Subject: [jawsscripts] change the default option for reading table headers

Hello.

I would appreciate it if someone can show me how to change the default
setting for the reading of table headers that can be set temporarily in the
adjust jaws options dialog box. I want to change the default option from
table titles announced marked headers to table titles announced both row and
column headers.

Sorry to take up your time with this. Thank you in advance.
