I must say that iTunes works 100% on a Mac with voiceover. I have been a
Windows user before but now I only use a Mac. I remember all to well the
frustrations with iTunes and JAWS. Unfortunately voiceover and JAWS do not
interact the same way when it comes to reading and navigating elements. Apple
is not obligated to support JAWS but they can do their best to provide the
necessary information that will give Freedom Scientific the ability to support
it. You are not going to get much of a response from Apple in regards to iTunes
while using JAWS as their screen reader voiceover has no issues with it at all.
Support will have to come from Freedom for this.
