Thanks for the suggestion.
I tried that, no success. I also increased pixels for tab with same results.
JAWS's traditional OSM window functions don't realize the history window is
separate so I don't think I can get the SetBrailleRestriction() to work.
But still not sure why the MSAA model causes JAWS to waste so much space.

Hi Travis,
Try changing the pixels per space to 999 in the configuration manager for
the Windows Live Messenger configuration file. This is actually setting the
pixels per space to unlimited, and it should get rid of that annoying wasted
space.
Let us know if that does the trick.
