A lot of the times, yes what is spoken is not output in braille. It depends a lot on what functions were used to produce the speech. Other factors can be the amount of time set for flash messages. And if you want braile to be persistent such as showing a dialog a certain way you have to use/override braille specific functions. -----Original Message----- From: jawsscripts-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jawsscripts-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jerry Posey Sent: Monday, March 12, 2012 8:59 AM To: jawsscripts Subject: [jawsscripts] Outputting Braille I have scripts I have written for a POS system and are working just like they should. We just hired another cashier that is using a braille display with my scripts. He said something this morning about having his counsler come out to help him get things working correctly with the braille display. Do I need to do something to my scripts to make the braille display work better with my scripts? I just assumed that what JAWS was speaking was output on the braille display, am I wrong to assume this?
