The Silverlight work I did was within a private contract through the
company I work for, and it was rather specific in focus to the system
I was scripting against.

I think NVDA has included some impressive support for UIA-based
environments, which includes WPF and Silverlight. I haven't played
much with that yet though.

Doug. Did you carry out this scripting then for a specific application of
silverlight in a given environment? or to make jaws work better with it
universally wherever it is used in an html environ, which we'll all get the
benefit of in next jaws release?
or, is silverlight a programming/presentation platform, like I currently
understood WPF to be?

And what would you posit as the likely reason NVDA can read text better in
such a Logos window, than jaws would do out of the box.
Is it because NVDA might be grabbing the text from objects whereas by
default Jaws would try
the OSM or nothing?
