Hi,
In structured mode, you need to override BrailleAddOjbectState()
And then display the resulting string from BrailleGetStateString().
I'd suggest checking braille.jss for an example.

As a follow-up to this, the application I am working on has a number of what
I might call pseudo check boxes. They are in a list, you can check or
uncheck them with the space bar, and I have instructed jaws to announce if
the item is checked or unchecked depending upon its state. In terms of
Braille, can anyone please tell me is there a syntax I can use to denote a
Braille sign to indicate that the check box is checked? I think once this is
done then all the Braille work should be complete.
