sorry, you misunderstood my text.
It was not clear enough.
I meant that you open JAWS settings and select a braille display there
and select a COM port.
May be try an old Handy Tech/Help Tech Braille display.
For example an BrailleStar or something similar.

Sometimes the screen reader cannot detect such a device.
So just take one, may be from a different manufacturer.
