[jaws-uk] windows update

Hi all,
have just tried to do a windows update but during the update I kept getting
several error messages including one which said that I had to restart my
machine and so I did but when I relaunched outlook, I felt that I wasn't
getting any mail through.
I did send myself several test messages which came through after about ten
minutes.
I am using windows me and JAWS version 5 so can someone please tell me what
I am meant to do if I have to finish off this windows update.
