hi pete,
this is the rub you see,this is a new never before used computer i installed
jaws v8.0 and got all that trouble with the video interupt ,so i was advised
correctly it seems to download jfw 8.0 and bits this immediatly cleared up any
video interupt problems and all was well untill today when i came to reload
jaws i cant find the jfw 8.0 and bits anywhere so i have to presume them pete
that its this update that is now playing hide and seek and cant be rebootd
from hot keys oh boy why do we bother.cheers and thanks for help.

Do you still have an older version of JFW installed? If so then you wull
need to create a different shortcut key for it, I have 8 different versions on
this machine and each has its own shortcut key to launch it.
I sympathise with you about the lack of verbal announcement when at the top
or bottom of a window, I complained about this when version 8 came out, but who
listens?

ok guys ,sorry to ruin your day but yep its el thicko here, i folowed
instructions to make hot keys control alt j for starting jaws anywhere after
shutting erm unloading it while playing my favourite games but it does not
responde i have checked out the area in which i set it up and according to the
stats its still set as control alt j so why aint it working, and why cant i
find any trace of the version 8.plus bits that i had to use to solve the video
interupt problem , i have thought of this hcarefully and think i got it written
out right this time so please yet again can you point me to the right place
other than the nearest river ,
