Othersubscribers have had this trouble with avg7. XP2 service pack 2 has
its own anti-virus package, but any MS package will be the first to be
attacked.
I have been using EZ Antivirus, but the latest version is less accessible
than former ones, about the same as AdAware... you need the Jaws cursor a
lot.
So I'll have a look at Pete's suggestion.

what anti virus checker is most suitable with jaws 5 and xp home, my partner jow has
a new computer and apparently as soon as we put on a v g anti virus checker version 7
jaws just stops talking after a while.
this was also happening with his old computer with jaws 5 and windows 98, as soon as
he changed from a v g 6 to a v g 7 this was when the problem first started.
