George and David,
Cheers,
Jamie
Hi David, (and Jamie)
The emphasis here is on "Vertical", and it's fairly easy.
Go to the File menu, and select "Page Setup".
Now select the "Layout" tab in the Page Setup dialog.
Tab down to the "Page" Section, where there is a list box called "Vertical alignment". Take your pick of Top, Bottom, Centre or Justified.
However, you should also be careful to make this first page a Section of its own, or the whole document will be vertically centred.
George.

All:
as the subject implies, how can I achieve this?
For clarification, for example a document's title page, on which are a few lines of text. This I would like to centre about the mid point of the page vertically.
I have found a couple of work around but feel that an easier method must exist.
TIA
David
