It is in internet explorer settings, not Word.
But that isn't the issue.

Hi

I'm sure there's an option in MS Office Word that asks if you want to use 
Word as the default for composing e-mails.

However, I've had a quick look and can't find it.

I'm sure I've seen it somewhere though.
