Hi Susan,
Have you got various programmes running at the one time? Outlook for
example is quite heavy on the resources. If you open Word on its own
with nothing else active, is it still slow?
Installed any new software or updates recently? Look out for things like
Adobe update manager which can park itself in your start up. If you know
what you're doing, go to run, msconfig and look at the start up tab to
see what's running. You might find something in there that's loading up
your resources and isn't required, but be careful, get sighted
experienced help if you're not sure.
