Hello Joan,

Single line spacing in word 2010

It's a bit more involved than older versions, please follow the steps below.

The option is in the home tab but the shortcut key is Alt/H/K, use this
shortcut.
You land on a list of line spacings, you are on 1.00, which is what you
want, press enter.
That changes the line spacing for this document only, to change it
permanently, go back into the line spacing with Alt/H/k, the 1.00 line
spacing is now checked,
Now up arrow to "line spacing options", press enter,
You land in the paragraph settings, just tab on until you get to "set as
default" and press enter.
This puts you on an O K button, DO NOT PRESS ENTER HERE!!
Down arrow to "all documents based on the normal template", now tab on to O
K and press enter.
Now you are set for single line spacing for all future documents.

Good luck.

Jim.

Subject: [jaws-uk] single spacing in Word?

Hi, Folks,

I'm using Word 2010 and can't remember how to get single spacing.

I know it's off topic but would be grateful for some help.

Thank you.

Best wishes,

Joan.
