There are some fancy programs that allow you to give a different quip each time but I know nothing of them. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dorothy Ingram-Gorban Sent: 24 June 2008 15:35 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: signatures and advertising thank you tiddy looking over old emails I see many quotes from Byron to tennison, I assume that is a signature then but am not sure but if I want a bit of traction for my back for example or say bed and breakfast is that created differently? I know they are not connected to Jaws unless of course we need these services some are selling things some are not and the disclaimers may be business related but as a Jaws user I have them at the bottom of Emails and wondered how they are created is it different in outlook Express to ms Outlook or Webmail? The disclaimers often interest me because I am not sure if they apply to the list or not I imagine somewhere I would find all this written Dorothy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tiddy Ogg" <oggy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2008 2:51 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: signatures and advertising > Well Ian, it's more relevant than most... > Dorothy, poke around in the menus of Outleook Express or whatever you're > using and you might find how to do it. > > > -----Original Message----- > From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Iain Lackie > Sent: 24 June 2008 14:31 > To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: signatures and advertising > > > With all due respect, what has this to do with JAWS? > > Iain > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Dorothy Ingram-Gorban" <dorothy.ingram-gorban@xxxxxxxxx> > To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2008 1:13 PM > Subject: [jaws-uk] signatures and advertising > > > Hi I had just read Joan Muir's Post and for some reason something > long > forgotten has come to mind, I often see Advertisements for Services and > such > like trailed after Posts and of course Disclaimers, how are these > created. > I remembered that Nigel use to pick some awful trailers, one was > something > like he "dreamed of the day when he would take up a red hot Poker and > put > out the eyes of his sighted Oppressors Well even Nigel couldn't get > away > with that and they took his Poker away,he was quite upset, poor Nigel. > Daydreaming however of signatures I half recalled I think it was an > old > Oscar wildes on the theme of hunting how did it go now "in persuitof > the > uneatable? anyway to cut to chase how are all these advertisements > which > some are and Disclaimers created by Jaws. thanks Joan had a vague > feeling > youmight know > > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > > > > > > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > > > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
