I think your friend is running at the limits of what the PC can do, he
probably doesn't have much memory by the sound of things either. The PC
must be about 5 years old, time for a new box, finances permitting.

Could somebody please help. A friend of mine has some difficulty with
Skype
but it may be Jaws causing the problem.
Whenever we get on Skype together his Jaws runs so slowly that we spend
most
of the time sitting their waiting for it. At the same time I can hear him
perfectly. When he's not on Skype Jaws works normally.
He uses Jaws 5.0, Windows XP. However, his system runs at 700 mhz; could
this last item be the problem?
Any advice would be appreciated.
