I have got two DG834 units one still in use. I brought one of them
specifically because they were recommended to work well with Macs as
well as PCs. I do recognise the going dead bit which has happened on
the odd occasion. WEP encryption is really so seriously broken these
days that you should absolutely not use it unless you really have no
other choice. Despite some irresponsible scare stories WPA personal is
still good.
Both the support and the actual units have seen better days since the
original DG834 which wasn't too bad for its day.
