Hi Susan, Firstly, it is very important that you do not write anything to or amend anything on that disk because these actions can overwrite the content of the deleted file. If you are using Windows XP and know the exact name and path of the file, you can use a command line utility named recover. To invoke the command line, press WindowsKey+r then type cmd and press enter. You are now in a dos like environment. Place your floppy disk in the drive and type: recover a:\pathname\filename where pathname\filename is the exact path and file names on the disk. Recover will then search the disk and attempt to recover the file. You may need to use the Jaws cursor to read any messages which recover displays. Finally, to exit command line, type exit and press enter.
