Thanks Keith but I don't even get the repair option so I think i'll
uninstall JAWS and install the latest full build from the FS website.

Graham

Hello Graham,

I would never call myself a Jaws expert, but each time I install an update,
I do a repair beforehand, because I know that if I don't, Jaws won't install
the update, and I will be prompted to do a repair.

The other day I did a repair of Jaws 11 before installing the latest update.

I've just this moment again runs Jaws 11, and got the following:

1. I landed on a Next button.

2. I'm then told to wait while the computer is configured for Jaws.

Jaws then welcomes me to the 11.0 set up wizard, and says it allows me to
change the way Jaws features are installed on my computer. or to remove it
from my computer.

3. Press Next to continue, or cancel to exit the wizard.

4. After pressing Next, the default button is Modify.

5. I can tab to the repair button.

The other buttons are Remove button or Cancel button.

So, I'm quite able to do a repair.

I hope this helps just a little.

Good luck.

With best wishes,

Keith

Hi all.

How do I repair JAWS version 11? I have tried running the uninstaller
which gives me the option of removing jaws only or removingjaws and common
components I think they are called. If I run JAWS 11 the latest version I
get told that an existing version of jaws and this one can't be installed as
the version already exists. I am using a Samsung N110 running windows 7.

Regards

Graham
