Good Morning all, I know that this is off topic but wanted to pass this on to as many disabled people as possible just a quick message to pass on some useful information. Yesterday I went down to the job centre to claim job seekers allowance, and to my surprise I was told about another benefit that all disabled people can get when they are working 16 hours or more, it is called the disabled persons working tax credit) and is not linked to your disabled persons tax code. If you should wish to have more information about this benefit, contact either the inland revenue or your disability employment advisor. This benefit came out in either 2002 or 2003, I am in the process of finding out if I can claim this for the last 2 years that I was working, and will let you know how I go on so that it will hopefully be of some help to you all.
