Sorry, Paul, I can't help either. I decided to sign in a while ago, using my
PC with Windows 7. Couldn't manage it at all and took the easy way out by
asking a sighted friend for help. Haven't tried doing this since so I don't
know how it will go.

Using I-Phone 5S with IOS10.2.
feeling rather frustrated at present.
as of tonight, you now have to sign in in order to access theBBC I-Player.
I've known for a while about the fact that this would happen, as every so
often ,when I went onto the I-Player Radio app via my I-Phone, I would get a
message advising me that I'd soon have to sign in.
well, like an idiot, I left it and left it, until tonight when I discovered
that I would now have to sign in.
Well, I attempted to do this but firstly I discovered that the password I'd
chosen was too short and so when I created one which was of the specified
length, I then hit "Go", only to be told that password was not recognized
with this account.
I then tried again and also filled in some of the other fields ,such as my
Email address and post code.
The frustrating part came when I had to select gender because both gender
buttons are not properly labeled.
I am totally disgusted with the Beeb over this and wonder how much more of
this sign in debacle is inaccessible to us as visually impaired people.
If anyone knows of a way round this issue, then please do let me know how I
can successfully sign into the BBC I-Player via my I-Phone.
Just to add that I have not tried with my windows PC as I am still on XP and
so would doubt I'd be able to sign in.
any help on this would be very much appreciated.
