Hello Adrian,

I had exactly this problem when copying tracks to a memory stick. The order
of tracks was correct on one memory stick but not on the other.

I was advised to format the memory stick, and this I did. Now all the tracks
appear and play in their correct order.

I number the tracks 001, 002, etc, and this does work.

Of course formatting a drive on a computer is certainly not to be
recommended.

With best wishes,

Keith

Thanks Mohammed, This is what I have done.  Unfortunately, the file has gone
into random mode.

Hello Adrian,

The way I do it is name the files like 001, 002, 003 and so on.  This means
that track 35 would be 035.  The tracks should then play in the correct
order.

Hope that helps.

Subject: [jaws-uk] playing music tracks in correct border

I have created a MP3 music file to transfer a varied selection of music
tracks to be copied into it.  Each song has been allocated a number, so they
can be played in order to which I wish to hear them.  However, the track
numbers are not listing in the numerical order that I placed them in the
file originally.  For example, track 35 is listed before track 5.

If anyone can give me some directions on how I can correct this problem, and
get the track numbers back to normal, I would be very thankful for some
help.

With many thanks,

Adrian Rowe
