Yeah - for some reason, it won't fill in the jaws list like it is in your
address book, or the access one for that matter. If you carry on writing the
address though until about after the at sign, it seems to fill it in.

Thanks. The box is checked, but when I tested it, it didn't work. well,
jaws certainly didn't seem as if it did. I typed in Jaws as I would when
wanting to write to this list, but it didn't continue to predict what I
wanted to do. I'll check the address book next.

Hi Jill,
in tools, options, the preferences tab, look for e-mail options. enter on
that, and tab to advanced, or simply activate it by hitting ALT + A. In
here, you want a box which is labeled "automatic name checking", and make
sure it has a tick alongside it...I think however it should be turned on by
default. Next, press the okay buttons as they appear to get back to where
you started.
I'm using OL 2002, so there could be a few variations to the above. HTH.

Hi.
Just wondering whether Outlook gives you the option of filling in email
addresses. OE allows you to set it so that you start typing an address, and
it fills the rest in for you. If the first option isn't right, you just
type till it is. I've tried looking in the options menu under tools, but no
joy. Any helpp would be greatly appreciated. using Outlook 2000, Jaws
4.501 and W98se.
