Paul, sorry you are still stuck, did your nephew not come? to delete
Temporary files and cookies I go into internet explorer and Tools and you
will soon find it it may help I have had an issue with Outlook express and
ecartis software since last year, an Engineer has gone over the Pc,I have a
Desktop and laptop he ran a windows repair on laptop but the problem still
persists, something has altered between Outlook express and ecartis
software, however if you described your Spam to your ISP and they mentioned
seeing an Engineer they may be right.

Hi Dorothy,

I have ABG on my PC.

Funny you should mention Rreal Player, I have a real network s installer
mesage come up but have to route JAWS to PC to read it and it tells me
that
my current version is now out of date and to update it.

I get rid of this message but it takes me two or three goes to do this.

As for what I was doing when the spam Email came in, well I was on the
internet and attempting to close it but JAWS went sluggish and crashed and
I
had to switch off and on again when all seemed to be wel, until I Opened
outlook and as that Email was at the bottom of the pile, that's when I had
the problems I have reported.

Paul.

:
:
: Paul what were you doing on wednesday at the time of the spam, seems it
is
: happening in Outlook,or do others using Outlook express have it? also
you
do
: not say which anti-virus product you are running.I do not often get spam
but
: had 2 recently and for some reason I think real Player may be to blame
It
: seems to advertise a lot. after I had a Trojan attack last year My
Engineer
: came got rid of Kaspersky put on AVG he set it to do a full system scan
: each day, on both a desktop and laptopIt is a bit time consuming but I
put
: up with it. Incedentally when it does a scheduled scan it seems to do a
: much bigger than a full system scan, why would this be? You see if by
: chance I have not put on at 7 pm for scheduled I go intotools and choose
the
: full scan, counting the numbers after each scan I noted the scheduled
is
: more thorough.I am not sure why?Dorothy
