I had tried alt +t but didn't think to try e and e because Jaws was saying
something other than tools.

Hi Joan,
The way I do it in Word 2007 (which is likely to be pretty similar) is to
use the old keystrokes from Word 2003 i.e. Alt+T, then E, then E. Hopefully
this will take you into the dialogue box where things are fairly familiar.
For labels, it is Alt+T, then E, then L.
Alternatively, if you want to use the existing menu system, I think you
should find the items under the "Mailings" tab on the Upper Ribbon. When
you then press Tab to go to the Lower Ribbon, the 2 items are the first 2
listed (at least this is the case in Word 2007).
