Very cheap monitors of TFT variety can be had for around the £120 mark,
possibly less. Still far cheaper are new CRT monitors which you can buy for
around £60 to £70 new for the smaller ones. One thing to watch out for on
the very cheap TFT variety are that sometimes it is low grade stock where
there may be one of two dead pixels, but may still be usable especially by
those whose sight is nog good enough for reading but just getting a vague
sense of what is going on screen.

Christine,
So is it possible that this guy could have bought the monitor at say fifty
pounds, assuming he bought it at all and be charging Dorothy a little extra?

Not meaning to accuse any one of anything just asking questions.

Nigel
It's not what Operating system you use, it's how productive you are with it.
