[jaws-uk] macro's

can any one tell me what this means?
on one of my floppy disks i have a file called switch and for some reason when
i open
it it has started to say, a: \ switch xls contains macro's
macros may contain viruses it is always safe to disable macros but if the
macros are
legitimate you might losesome functionality.
i have been useing this disk now for about a year and it is only this last week
that
this message comes up in this file.
