Hi George, You prooved to be right again! Well done old boy! Hey, since you seem to be great at this, I wonder if you know how to write a signature in Outlook Express 2003. I know how to go to tools, select the signature options and add the one you wish in Outlook Express 2000, but I cannot work out how to do the same with this other version. Can you help? Best, Andrew. ----- Original Message ----- From: "George Bell" <george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, April 04, 2007 10:19 AM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: keyboard languages You need to get your cursor into the Installed Services list, and highlight the US keyboard. Then the "Remove" button should be available for you to navigate to a press. George. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andrew Diaz Russell Sent: 04 April 2007 10:14 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: keyboard languages Dear George, Many thanks for your help with the language selection for the keyboard. I have now added the Spanish settings but I cannot erradicate the US English keyboard settings. I go to the remove option but I cannot find anything. What do I do to take the English US keyboard settings? Best, Andrew. ----- Original Message ----- From: "George Bell" <george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 30, 2007 3:17 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: keyboard languages Andrew, Tony, Adding another language keyboard in Windows XP is not difficult, but obviously needs care. Go to Control Panel Select Regional and Language Settings. Navigate to the Languages Tab. (You may wish to observe the "Supplemental Language Support" section if you need right to left or East Asian languages.) Click on Details Make sure you are on the Settings Tab. Make sure your Default input Language is correct. Click on the "Add" button which will bring up the "Add Language" dialog. Click on the Input Language list box, and very carefully make your selection. I say "very carefully" because with some languages there are special choices - for example there are about 6 German variations. Don't worry at this point about other items in the dialog that may come up. Click OK. Now here the next trick to watch. Click "Apply" and then click on "Key Settings". Hopefully the dialog is fairly intuitive, but here you can actually apply special keyboard commands to switch to a specific language. Highlight the language in the list and click on "Change Key Sequence". You can now enable a key sequence, selecting either CTRL or Left Alt, followed by Shift, and then a choice of numbers 0 through 9. Hopefully by using a number on the top row, you will be less likely to accidentally change using Alt + Shift. Hope this helps all the linguists here. George. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andrew Diaz Russell Sent: 30 March 2007 14:56 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: keyboard languages Dear Marie, In my case, I can only change between US and British English.
