Hi Ismail,

Here's what the help files say about two items in the (Web/HTML/PDF Group) in the Jaws Settings Centre:

"Wrap Navigation

If this item is selected, quick key navigation commands wrap when they reach the beginning or end of an HTML document. If the check box is cleared, JAWS speaks a message informing you that no more matches are found, such as no more tables. This item is selected by default."

"Indicate Element Attribute

If this check box is selected, JAWS indicates HTML element attributes as defined under the HTML page of the Speech and Sounds Manager when editing schemes."

So, uncheck the (Wrap Navigation) to stop Jaws wrapping on WebPages and (Indicate Element Attribute) for Jaws to stop saying mouse over.

You can use the searching facility in the Jaws Settings Centre to quickly locate these two check boxes. Don't forget to choose IE from the list of applications in the Settings Centre to apply these changes only to IE.

HTH.

Hi All,

Can anyone help and advise?

1. When on web how do I stop jaws from saying/doing the following?
When on a link or button jaws says on mouse over
When cycling through the links on a webpage once it reaches the bottom it wraps to top: 2. When on the Halifax credit card page jaws does not respond to any keystrokes although the info is on screen and you can read it by going in to jaws cursor.

Look forward to suggestions.

Thank you,

Ismail.
