Dear Yvonne and List:
You can change the speech rate of JAWS either temporarily or
permanently.
To change temporarily, press control plus alt and page up for
faster or control plus alt and page down for slower.
To change permanently, bring up the JAWS screen with JAWS KEY
plus J select options, then select voices, press v for voice
adjustment press tab until you hear rate then enter your desired
speech rate for JAWS. Tab down to OK and press this button by
pressing space bar.
