I would suggest you repair your word installation.
I have just downloaded jaws 9.0 final version to try and haven't had that
prob with word I have just tested it.

HI list:
does anyone have this issue with jaws nine? I've reported it in the last
beta , but fs don't seem to have addressed it. I have an nvidia G-Force
5200 graphics card and jaws nine will not read in pc curser mode in word
2003. it will not read by line, word, or anything. though it does in jaws
curser mode. Strangely enough jaws reads using pc curser in all other aps,
so I don't think my graphics card has anything to do with this. I am
unhappy with this development. good thing v eight still works. not a happy
camper here as I use word all the time and was so much looking forward to
the much trailed new features in word. Maybe this is what they mean by new
features ? I've even tried messing with the zoom with no affect. I'm sorry
if this sounds like a sarcastic email and bit of a rant, but it seems not a
new version of jaws goes by now without me finding serious issues with it.
this is minor compared to what I had to deal with in the early stages of
eight. then nothing worked up until build 2107.
any help would be gratefully appreciated.
