hi,

this solution is not that good really as the main reason i wanted this
feature was to save on extra key presses when deleting some messages from a
large number of messages.

Hi Husna,
A work around for selecting multiple email messages. Instead of pressing
shift + down arrow, press ctrl + down arrow to move the focus to the next
item, and then press ctrl + spacebar to select it. Not ideal, but all the
columns are read.
When I first replied to your messages about this I didn't read them
carefully enough
and didn't realize that the problem was with selecting multiple messages,
not single ones.

David.

original message:
well finally called s&s about my problem with wlm failing to read out the
subject and dates when selecting multiple email messages, which i wrote to
the
lists about but failed to resolve. the person said jaws was just reading one
column and that this was a but that was happening at his end as well. it is
shocking that FS released jaws lacking such a basic feature! who is the best
person to write to at FS to get features implemented in a patch as i have
noticed lots of annoying things with jaws and wlm etc, such as jaws not
reading
out matching contacts as you start typing, which means you have to always
tab
backwards and forwards to see if a matching contact came up as well as
having
to manually label basic graphic such a collapse and attachment. we should
not
have to put up with these kind of annoyances and lack of basic features in a
product costing more than £600. also wlm has been out for years and FS
shout
have had time to implement basic features and but fixes by now. i really
liked
outlook express, it didnâ??t have any of these frustrating problems, i wish
they hadnâ??t got rid of it, is there no way of using oe in windows 7?
