I don't think you need the send button you can just press return to send the
message.

That rings a bell as far as I remember the windows messenger working, but
when I'm tabbing around on MSn, i don't see a Send button I know I'm signed
in, and I know people are trying to talk to me. I find all these buttons like
display picture and things. I'll see if I can start a convo, as opposed to
replying to someone.

Hello Jill. I am using MSMessenger version six something. I am also using JFW
4.51 with XP and WIN 98.; I go into the system tray and enter on MSM which
signed in. Entering on that takes me to the point where I can scroll down and
see who is on line. Entering on the one I want takes me to the typing window
and then one tab to the send button. My system just types in quite easily. One
shift tab takes me to where the messages are logged. Alt F into the file menu
and to the save button saves the logged messages in Word.; Does this help?;
Cheers Ron

    Hi.

    Just joined recently.

How well does Jaws work with the MSN Messenger? I've got it, but am having
difficulty sending messages. I've not used this one before. when I was at
Hereford, I was using Windows Messenger and whichever version of Jaws they were
running, maybe 4.5, I think. It worked really well. With MSN I can see who's
online but can't seem to read conversations, and am not sure how to reply. I
see the typing field, but nothing seems to happen when I try to respond. I
think that in WM, I just hit enter after I finished typing, but haven't used it
in around a year, so maybe I got it wrong.

    Any help would be good.

    Jill.
