Graham,

Spell check works fine on my Word 2003 install with JAWS 6.1; the
spelling error is read and spelt, then the first suggestion is read and
spelt. Insert + F7 repeats the information.

Subject: [jaws-uk] jaws 6.10 and MSoffice 2003 spell checker

Hi all.

Sorry to cross post but I am having a problem with JAWS for Windows 6.1
and the MS office 2003 spell checker. This is happening in Microsoft
Word. When I press f7 I hear not in dictionary but I do not hear the
word or the spelling suggestions.

using insert f7 does not give this either.

I have had a couple of people saying they have this problem but I wonder
if anyone is able to get the spell check in Word to work propperly with
Word 2003 spell checker? It does seem a glaring error to release JAWS
with such a fundamental component not working propperly.

Cheers

Graham
