Hi Yvonne.
Research It is a quick way to look for something of interest. Word Index allows you to find how many times words appear in a document. Yes forms mode is still the same as JAWS 10. Freedom Scientific, like any other company, are not known to change existing features, well not all the time anyway.
Hope this helps.

Hi Yvonne.
JAWS 11 has new features like Research It and Word Index. Whether
there's problems with it depends on the individual. Some of us had
problems in the earlier builds, but these were related to the use on
Windows 7 rather than JAWS 11 in general. Others are still having
problems to this day. Whether it's worthwhile is totally up to you. I
got it free as part of a SMA I paid over two years ago. JAWS 11 will
work on XP 32 bit, Vista 32 and 64 bit and 7 32 and 64 bit.
I hope these answer your questions.

Hi David,

you can change which headings are shown, and their order, using the
columns
dialog which you can open from the view menu. If you find that jaws
says that
this is unavailable, then this can be fixed as follows:
1. Open the layout dialog from the view menu.
2. tab to the message list button, and press it using space bar.
3. A set of three options for how the messages are displayed. The
default is
automatic, but tab to one-line view and check this option using
spacebar.
4. press the ok button. The columns dialog should now be available.

David.

Hi List,

Started using Windows 7 yesterday. Could somebody please remind me
how to
change the order of items spoken in the headers? of an email.
Normally it
starts with the name and then a few more items such as list groups
name, date
and time I think. The subject line comes last.

The point is I want to change it so that the name of the sender then
the
subject line is spoken. All the other stuff can come later or be
ignored.
Hope you know what I mean. Please advise.

Regards

David
