With Word running, press Insert+V for Verbosity, and arrow down until
you hear Borders and Pictures. Press Space Bar to select it, then Enter
to close the dialog.

Subject: [jaws-uk] identifying pics in a word doc

Hi all,

JFW 8, MS Word 2002, XP Pro,
Not used to this type of working, but I'm putting together just a rough
word document with jpg images inserted here and there between blocks of
text.

As I scroll down the pages with the arrow keys, I obviously hear the
text being spoken, but is there a way to get jaws to tell me it's
passing over, or sitting on a jpg image, and can I get the dimensions
and position of a jpg which I have inserted into the doc from within the
file?

Sorry if this is basic stuff to do with graphics labelling or whatever,
just haven't done this before.

Kind regards,

Robin Clayden, Secretary
