The below answer does not cover blank CD's, as the original question didn't mention them. . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Flor Lynch" <florlync@xxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, June 11, 2005 3:59 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: identifying cd types Hi Francis, The solution could involve a little expenditure! Get a newer CD player. First check in the shop if it will play all types of audio CD's - CD-RW's as well as CD-R's. (My hi-fi purchased last summer has one such.) Now, when you put a data CD into such a CD player, the player will try to play it and you will hear a constant noise that is quite unmistakable. No damage is done to the date or the CD! ----- Original Message ----- >From: "francis" <francisrwama@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 10, 2005 3:20 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: identifying cd types Hi Francis, hi danny, I don't really understand what you are asking here?
