The problem is that the scanner does not recognise the twain source, and
thinks it is set to "optic book" wheras "ABBYY fine reader" is
highlighted.
As a matter of fact, I think I mucked it up myself by ending whilst the
scanning was still in progress. I think I may have to down load and
reinstall the thing from the web site.
Any further views most welcome.

I have this setup also, but think that the error message is a bit deeper
than that, and may be associated with an earlier Microsoft upgrade.
The more technical hopefully will help in greater detail.
