Hi

Ah yes, I've had this problem as well.

here's a shot in the dark...

Go to dictionary manager and add ' to your list and leave the second field
blank and save it.

make sure you add the symbol ' not the word.

That should do it.

Subject: [jaws-uk] customising pronunciation

Hi all

i have taken to reading books on my pc using jaws 5.1. i have gone in to
the jfw configuration manager because i don't want jaws speaking out 's and
such as they interrupt the flow of the reading. under customising
punctuation i have set these to none but they are still being spoken. is
there anything else i should be doing??

hope someone can help as this really does irritate me when i'm trying to
follow a book.

thanks in advance

kaz
