a problem with the speaking of OnMouseOver.
I looked in the Technical Support page today and paste below part of what it
said. It may be noticed that the solution is similar to the "Read Only"
question that came up. There are variations on the solution and refer you
to the last paragraph of this message.

Beginning with the release of Version 5.1 or later, this option is set by
default so that no OnMouseOver information is spoken. To change this
setting,
you need to go to the HTML page in the Speech and Sounds Manager and select
the appropriate radio button.

1. Press INSERT+F2, select Configuration Manager, and press ENTER.
2. Press ALT+S to open the Set Options menu and press M to choose Speech and
Sounds Manager.
3. Press ALT+E to activate the Edit Current Scheme button.
4. Press CTRL+SHIFT+TAB until you move to the HTML tab.
5. In the List View, use the arrow keys to select OnMouseOver.
6. Press TAB once to move to the selection of radio buttons.
7. Use the UP or DOWN ARROW to select either Speak HTML Attribute, Play
Sound or Ignore.
8. Press TAB until you move to the OK button, then press SPACEBAR.
9. Press ALT+F4 to close the Configuration Manager. Press SPACEBAR on the
Yes button when JAWS asks if you want to save your current settings.
If using JAWS version 5.0, JAWS recognizes the OnMouseOver attribute and, if
it is set to display text or links as part of the page, provides access to
that information. This can give you important information about an HTML page
and it is recommended that you do not disable this feature. However, if you
prefer that JAWS not speak OnMouseOver information, there are several
options available. You can silence the OnMouseOver announcement or assign a
sound
to the OnMouseOver attribute announcement. Alternatively, you can
temporarily turn off Element Attribute speech during your current Internet
Explorer session,
disable it for a specific Web site, or disable the feature entirely.

Regards
Rashmi

Dear List,
Can some clever person give in 1 email perhaps in time for the New year a fix for the following please. I do know they have been covered by the odd Email here and there in the past. However if an all in 1 can be composed and in detail That would be a lovely gift.

1 how to stop Read only edit.
2 how to remove greater than symbols across all programmes.

3 How to turn off the Mouse over for good.

As for that email stripper thing someone told me to download, how do you use the darned thing. Regards and
Happy Christmas.
