Hi are you having problems with the sound cutting out automatically, if so
have you thought about going in to the control panel, then click on sounds
and audio devices, then go on to the volume page there is a check box that
says device mute check box, this is not checked by default, however if you
find that it is tap the space bar and then go to the ok button and press
space on that.
Hopefully this will solve the problem.
Thanks for all your hints and information I will bare those in mind when I
go to by my lap top.

I wish I had asked that question instead of relying on a friend I have a
Toshiba. XP home it does not have a way of getting the volume on if it
vanishes. or if you muted by accident. I have left mine on all-night in
standby, I am not sending this from it a desktop. I realise I should have
put my hands on what ever I way buying. and asked about what is called FYI
sorry Y-fi. or Wireless connection.. most of all to feel it yourself and
ask questions. I think any good make should work with Jaws I cannot see
why not it is in my opinion dependant on whether you can truly on your
self and not have to ask some one else to tell you what has happened to the
Sound. I am wondering if I can disable the mute part as it will mute
all that isn't only Jaws but windows.. I am not sure if leaving on in
standby all-night is a good thing either just have done this in
desperation.. If you have sighed family member it may not matter but I do
not want to have to ask all the time. By the way I have just heard an
article that there is anew Wiles router that is very fast. Again I am not
sure if this is important. I have something with G Sorry Jaws is
playing up I think I am trying to say feel it yourself..this is jumbled
and I cannot help it.. I am only trying to help you as mine is driving me up
thewall! D
