When you start up and download the AVG update, are you connected to the
internet to get the updates?

HI Tom,

Thanks for that. I press the butting as I thought it was ment to activate
it even though I am advised that the AVG will be automatically updated.

Have not been advised that it is running out but will contact my friend
probably between Christmas and newYear.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Paul.

: Hi Paul,
:
: Have come in in the middle of this so not sure if this is going to help.
:
: When I get that message about 30secs to go, I just leave it. I'm not sure
: what happens when you press the okay.
:
: It might also be worth scheduling an update at a specific time with AVG
: rather than on start up.
:
: If you've got xp with the windows security centre, you get a warning if
your
: antiVirus is out of date.
