Hi list:
I seem to be struggling to get to grips with the Outlook calendar, not
sure if it's the calendar or if it's me so seaking feedback. have read
outlook and jfw help with little joy.
in day view when I right arrow on to a given day I expected to hear a
list of all the appointments I have scheduled for that day, is this
correct or do I have to arrow up and down to examine each time slott
manually.
When I do explore manually I don't hear all information related to a
single given appointment, e.g I get date and time but not other detail.
a particular problem is that when I have one meeting which is recurring
other meetings scheduled for the same day also seem to be announced as
recurring even if they are not, or certainly ones before doo.
if I accidently schedule appointments for the same time or which overlap
I don't seem to get any audible warning either at the time or when
reviewing the calendar, should I?

if in the active appointments view
the information listed seems jumbled and confused I hear some words
repeated often and while the info does seem to relate to a given
appointment it isn't sufficient to let me gain all the necessary info
e.g time location, other attendees duration etc.
the recurring meeting problem seems to apply here too.

am using outlook 2002 and jfw 6.

fixes or outlook alternatives welcome, although alternatives should
ideally be able to cynchronise with outlook as the rest of the
organisation use it for scheduling, tracking holidays etc.

Thanks
